  • Trivia Night - Gather your crew—in honor of the upcoming Face to Face Speaker Forum, MUSE Winston-Salem is hosting an Earvin ā€œMagicā€ Johnson-themed trivia night at Radar Brewing! 7 PM

  • šŸ‘®ā€ā™‚ļø Save the Date: The Winston-Salem Police Foundation’s annual charity event, Operation Protect and Serve, takes place October 29 at Biotech Place. Why attend? Aside from a catered dinner and a silent auction, the event raises money for key initiatives such as the Police Athletic League Outreach Program!

  • šŸˆ Athletics: Welcome home, Demons. A dedication ceremony will be held this Friday for the newly constructed M. Douglas Crater Field & Stadium at R. J. Reynolds High School! Grab tickets to watch the RJR-Atkins football game afterward.

  • 🌳 Recreation: Tanglewood Park’s new playground near Shelter 4 is now open. If you swing by to check it out, make sure to also get in a round of Softgolf!

  • šŸ‘©ā€āš•ļø Medicine: Novant Health is the first health system in the nation to offer RapidArc Dynamic radiation therapy. This therapy enables clinicians to target tumors with more accuracy and speed than other forms of radiation therapy.

  • šŸŽ¬ Arts: Local filmmaker Angus MacLachlan’s ā€œA Little Prayerā€ is now screening in movie theaters across the nation! The film was shot in Winston-Salem and stars UNCSA alumni like Steve Coulter, Celia Weston, and Anna Camp.

  • šŸ› Government: The City Council votes on the potential downtown amphitheater tomorrow, September 2. The project needs approval for temporary street closures on event days and a leasing agreement for a nearby one-acre parcel, which would be used for back-of-house operations.
