šŖ“ Brown Family Conservatory Reopens
Back in Bloom
The Brown Family Conservatory opens on Tuesday, October 8!
What: Originally known as the Lord & Burnham Greenhouse, the Conservatory will serve as an entryway to Reynolda Gardens and will feature seasonal plant displays and themed areas like an orangery and an orchid room.
Background: The Conservatory was the first completed structure on the Reynolda estate when it was built in 1913. It began undergoing renovations in November 2023 to restore the space and install modern control systems.
New Center: The Reynolda Welcome Center will also open on Tuesday, October 8, and will serve as an introduction to the Reynolds estate. The building sits adjacent to the Conservatory and was historically the floristās workshop.
When: Tuesday, October 8, from 1:30-4:30 PM. Moving forward, the Conservatory and Welcome Center will mirror the hours of the Reynolds House.
