👨🍳 The Chef Behind Winston's Beloved Restaurants
👨🍳 Meet Chef Adam Andrews
From Young Cardinal Cafe & Co. to Jeffrey Adams on Fourth and Twisted Pine, Chef Adam Andrews is the man behind some of Winston’s most loved establishments.
Starting Out: Adam got his start washing dishes at Town and Country Grille in King, NC, when he was 15 years old. He went on to study at the Pennsylvania Culinary Institute before moving to Winston-Salem to work at The Old Fourth Street Filling Station.
Restaurant Era: In 2012, Adam teamed up with Jeffrey Bassett to open Jeffrey Adams on Fourth, the first of several successful ventures he’s continued to launch, including:
The Trophy Room and Dogwood Hops and Crops - 2017
Young Cardinal Cafe & Co. - 2020
Twisted Pine - 2022
Easy Tiger Beer Garden and The Mercantile Chophouse - 2024
Why? “I would never have imagined having as many [establishments] as I have now. What kept me doing it? I get bored easily. I always have to be doing something.”
🏈 Cooler weather and football just go hand in hand. The Deacs are 4-2 and ready to make a statement in two big ACC home matchups:
October 25 vs. SMU (Homecoming Game)
BUNDLE: Want in on both games? Grab the $99 bundle and get tickets to both matchups.*
