  • 🏠 Housing: A new 62-unit affordable housing community is now leasing! Several groups, including the Peters Creek Community Initiative and the City of Winston-Salem, worked together on the housing project. (ABC 45)

  • 🏟 Project: City officials are considering changes to Winston-Salem’s noise ordinance ahead of the new downtown amphitheater. The site’s owners say the current rules are too subjective and want clearer sound limits, like specific decibel levels. (WFDD)

  • ❄️ Winter Fun: Reserve a heated igloo dome at Harmon House! Each dome accommodates 2-6 guests and includes a charcuterie board or wine. Reservations can be placed through February 21.

  • 🎓 University: Philanthropist MacKenzie Scott donated $50 million to Winston-Salem State University! This marks the institution’s largest single gift in its history and follows Scott's $30 million donation in 2020.
