  • Coming Soon: Howlin’ At The Moon Bakery is opening a new space at 1312 S Hawthorne Rd, which will feature three dog washes, dog food, freshly baked treats, and a retail section with 40+ vendors! The owner is still deciding whether the store will move to this new space or if it will become Howlin’ at the Moon’s second location.

  • 🏠 Housing: Want to learn how you can create affordable housing in Winston-Salem? Neighborhood Services will explain how to purchase city-owned land for affordable housing projects at Hanes Hosiery Community Center on Thursday, November 14.

  • 🎞 Film Festival: RiverRun will present the third annual Can Film Festival on Saturday, December 7, at Marketplace Cinemas. The festival will feature two Christmas films, The Best Christmas Pageant Ever and National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation. RiverRun requests that attendees bring two cans of food per screening for Samaritan Ministries.

  • 👗 Closing: Par Les Femmes, a resale shop that benefits female survivors of domestic abuse, announced it will be closing due to circumstances beyond its control. The closing date has not yet been shared. All merchandise is now marked 50% off.

  • 💙 Support: We’ve teamed up with @thatblondegirlvikki to support our neighbors in western North Carolina! You can purchase stickers from her website. All proceeds will go to Beloved Asheville, a non-profit currently focused on helping those impacted by Hurricane Helene.

  • 🎄 Save the Date: Reynolda’s wreath decorating classes run from December 2-8 this year. Register soon if you’re interested in attending because these classes fill up quickly!
