🇺🇸 Memorial Day
In honor of Memorial Day on Monday, May 26, we’re highlighting the history behind Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum (LJVM) and how to honor our fallen soldiers this year.

🎖 About LJVM
Who was Lawrence Joel? The Coliseum is named for Winston-Salem native Lawrence Joel, a Vietnam War Army medic who received the Medal of Honor for saving 13 fellow soldiers during a 1965 Viet Cong attack, despite being shot twice.
Honor the fallen by visiting the stone markers on the Coliseum’s East and West Promenades, which honor over 500 local service members dating back to WWI.
