🎉 We love our online community, but there is something special about bringing people together in person. Let’s take this thing offline at The Go-To Summer Social!
What: Connect and make new friends at Lot 63 Coffee And Taproom! Tickets will include 1 drink ticket, light bites from Viva Chicken and Twisted Pine, and The Go-To Social Bingo Card for meeting new people.
Non-Profit: We’ll also collect hygiene items for Crisis Control Ministries to support Piedmont Federal Bank's health and wellness initiatives.

Opening: Winston-Salem has two major openings this week! La Baberia Barbershop opens on Thursday, May 23, and features a social space with video games, a pool table, and more. Elderflour Baking Company, a small batch bakery, celebrates its grand opening on Saturday, May 25.
Volunteer: The Winston-Salem Juneteenth Festival is on Saturday, June 15. Volunteers are needed for two-hour shifts - you must be 18+ to sign up or 13 years old with a guardian. An orientation session will be held on Wednesday, June 5.
Picklepaw Tournament: Forsyth Humane Society is hosting a pickleball tournament fundraiser June 21-23. Proceeds will support the care of shelter dogs and cats finding themselves ‘in a pickle’ as they search for their forever homes.

Housing: The Housing Authority of Winston-Salem (HAWS) is requesting Forsyth County to help fund the next phase of the CHOICE Neighborhood Initiative, which is revitalizing the Cleveland Avenue neighborhood. The next phase—which consists of 72 units of affordable housing—faces a $2 million funding gap.
Plan Ahead: The 2024 Ardmore Art Walk takes place on Saturday, November 9. Artists interested in showcasing their work must apply by June 30.
