🚵♂️ Biking: Forsyth Off Road Bicycle Association (FORBA) launches the Dragon’s Lair Kids Mountain Bike Area at Salem Lake this Saturday, May 17! Dragon’s Lair is designed for progressing young riders, with the two trail options: the easy Dragon’s Belly trail and the slightly more advanced Dragon’s Tooth trail.
✏️ Education: Summit School has broken ground on the SEED Center, a hub for science, engineering, entrepreneurship, and design! Opening in Fall 2026, the SEED Center will feature a makerspace & fabrication lab, outdoor learning environments, and an 1,800-square-foot greenhouse.
📊 Government: Make your voice heard! Forsyth County Commissioners are hosting public budget meetings and workshops this month at the Forsyth County Government Center. A public budget hearing will be held on May 19, with workshops scheduled for May 22 and May 29.
