  • Speakeasy -The Edgar Allen Poe Speakeasy experience brings four of the author’s stories to the stage while pairing them with classic cocktails. Experience the chilling event for yourself at The Mayfair Club. Also available Saturday. Limited tickets remain.

  • Trap & Paint - Explore your creative side while listening to live trap music at the Delta Arts Center. 8-11 PM

  • Art Bites - Enjoy delicious food and conversation with an architect and chef at the North Carolina Museum of Art (formerly SECCA). 6 PM

  • Film Screening - a/perture presents a “best-of” screening of documentary short films from the Better Cities Film Festival, followed by a panel discussion. 2 PM

  • Spring Market - Culture, a studio and gallery, brings local artists, craftspeople, and live music to Liberty Plaza. 12-4 PM

  • Pet Fair - Meet adorable pets available for adoption, shop for unique pet products, and watch pet grooming demonstrations at Pink Moon Cafe. 2-5 PM

  • Comedy Show - The famous stand-up comedian, Gabriel Iglesias, performs at LJVM Coliseum! 8 PM

  • Silent Book Club - Cozy up with a good book in the company of fellow readers at The Bookhouse. There will be designated times for mingling and reading. 3-5 PM

  • Dinner & Show - Enjoy dinner for two and a performance from Dueling Pianos in the Flow Club of Truist Stadium. Childcare available. 6 PM

  • Storytime - Special guest Esteban the Green Crayon visits Bookmarks for a special reading of Drew Daywal’s new book, The Crayons Love Our Planet. 10:30 AM

Sunday, March 24

  • Mix & Mingle - Make new friends at Easytalk in this “speed-dating” event. 4 PM

  • Free Tour - Have you been planning to visit the Reynolda House? For this special event, you can take a free self-guided tour through the house and art gallery. 1:30-4:30 PM

  • Concert - The UNCSA Percussion Studio presents “LOADING… A Video Game Music Concert” at Watson Hall, featuring music from classic and contemporary video games. 7:30 PM

Monday, March 25

  • Finance Class - Learn how to manage your finances with Piedmont Federal Bank at Robinhood YMCA. 6 PM*

  • Calligraphy Class - Join Sip & Script at Joymongers Barrel Hall to learn the basics of calligraphy. Supplies are included. 6:30 PM

  • Wine Dinner - Enjoy a 5-course meal at Six HundredÂş. 6:30 PM

  • New Menu: If you haven’t visited Camino Bakery recently, now is the time! The bakery recently revamped its wine list and launched a new menu with sandwiches (like the Applewood smoked turkey bacon club) and charcuterie boards.

  • Now Open: Redecorating for spring? XO Home and Garden offers locally grown flowers, art, and home furnishings from interior designer Ferol Barton Blake. The shop is located at 868 W 4th St.

  • Medical: Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist treated its first patient with lecanemab, a new FDA-approved Alzheimer’s Disease drug. The drug slows the progression of the disease by removing amyloid, a protein in the brain.

  • Save the Date: The grand opening of the John & Bobbie Wolfe Visitors Center takes place April 1 at 10 AM. Following the ceremony, Korner’s Folly will be open for free admission from 11 AM - 4 PM.

  • Ranking: Winston-Salem ranked No. 25 in 24/7 Wall St’s Top 40 US Cities with Booming Downtowns list! Other North Carolina cities that made the list included Greensboro (No. 23), Durham (No. 11), and Charlotte (No. 2).

  • Renaming: Two Winston-Salem Fairgrounds buildings have undergone name changes to better reflect how they are used. The Fairgrounds Annex is now the Fairgrounds Arena, and the Fairgrounds Education Building is now the Fairgrounds Event Center.

  • Boutique Wines, a wine bar, celebrates its grand opening on Friday, March 22 from 6-8 PM. Its carefully curated menu features wines from across the world that rotate monthly.

  • Dream Kreams, an artisanal ice cream shop, opens its doors on Saturday, March 23 from 12-7 PM. Its rotating menu features dozens of unique flavors—all available in non-dairy varieties.

  • Lot 63, a coffeehouse in Old Salem, is officially opening its taproom on Saturday, March 23! It has been in a soft opening phase with limited hours since February; its new hours will be Mon-Sun, 7 AM - 10 PM.
