  • My Success Era - Turn your 2024 goals into a reality at this hands-on workshop at Special Moments Venue featuring two breakout sessions, a brunch bar, and more! 9 AM - 12:30 PM

  • Stage Play - The Little Theatre of Winston-Salem presents Escaping Dreamland at Hanesbrands Theatre. Available through March 17.

  • Silent Disco - Enjoy a silent disco dance party with DJs Mauve Angeles, 1dg & Zach McGraw at The Ramkat. 9 PM

  • Spring Book Club - Discover your next read at Bookmarks and Foothills Brewing’s Spring Book Club Social. Carin Siegfried from Macmillan Publishers will recommend a variety of books from different genres that are perfect book club reads. 6:30 PM

  • Stage Play - Theatre Alliance presents, The Unexpected Guest, a mystery play. Available Saturday and March 22-24.

Saturday, March 16

  • Grand Reopening - Casual Furniture World celebrates the unveiling of its newly remodeled showroom this weekend with a storewide sale. A portion of the weekend’s sales will go to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. Available through Monday.*

  • Family Volunteering - Bring the whole family and help sort, organize, restock, and clean the Crisis Control Ministry’s food pantry! Kids ages 4 and up can participate. 9-11 AM

  • DIY Class - Create a one-of-a-kind moss art mirror at Mossy Hill Farm. 2 PM

  • Cherry Blossom Tea - Come to the Reynolda Gardens with your kids to learn about cherry trees and enjoy hot tea with treats from all over the world.

  • 5k Race - Participate in a community run event supporting St. Leo Catholic School with a variety of race options to choose from. 7:30 AM

  • Concerts: Salem Band announced their 2024 Summer Concert Series. Experience five captivating concerts in Salem Square starting on May 7th, all for free.


  • Opening: Fancy Groceries, a fine clothing and goods store, is reopening in its new location on 562 N Trade St on March 15. Little Pep (a wine bar opening soon on Trade St) will be serving drinks at 5 PM.


  • Movies: Innovation Quarter announced its Innovation & Cinema movies and dates. The popular free outdoor movie event kicks off April 19 with The NeverEnding Story (1984).


  • Fundraiser: Shred your documents safely at Riverwood's Spring Shredding Event at The Children's Center. $5 per bag/box suggested donation.

  • Coffee: Cam’s Coffee, located inside Kaleideum, celebrates its ribbon cutting this weekend. The coffee shop creates employment opportunities for individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities.
