  • Budget: The City Council approved a $658.9 million budget for 2024-2025, which includes a property tax increase from 66.10 to 72.50 cents per $100 of assessed value, effective July 1st.

  • Ceremony: On July 2, the City of Winston-Salem will hold a groundbreaking ceremony at Truist Stadium for the Salem Parkway Multi-Use Pathway. The path will connect downtown Winston-Salem to Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist when completed.

  • Non-Profit: Beyond Sports NC provides gently used sports equipment to youth and schools in Forsyth and Guilford counties. The organization aims to get children involved in sports by eliminating financial barriers. Help make a difference!
