A MESSAGE FROM BELL, DAVIS & PITT P.A.
Here For Your Family
Bell, Davis & Pitt P.A. is dedicated to supporting you and your family through any challenge. Their goal is to resolve most family law matters without going to court.
By leveraging their team's expertise in negotiation and mediation, they can often settle issues more quickly, reducing both stress and legal expenses.
Here are three reasons you might need a family lawyer besides divorce or separation:
Adoption: If you're looking to adopt a child, a family lawyer can guide you through the legal process, ensuring all requirements are met and helping with paperwork.
Premarital and Postmarital Agreements: Before or after marriage, you might want a legal agreement outlining how assets would be divided if the marriage ends. A family lawyer can help create and review these agreements to make sure they are fair and legally binding.
Guardianship: If a loved one can no longer care for themselves, a family lawyer can help you gain legal guardianship to make decisions on their behalf, whether it's for a child or an adult with special needs or health issues.
