🔨 REACH Center Breaks Ground
The REACH Center
Have you heard? The Winston Lake Family YMCA is being renovated to become the YMCA REACH Center at Winston Lake.
What: The REACH Center is a community hub that combines the YMCA’s services with those of other human service organizations, such as Novant Health and Goodwill.
Expect: Added amenities and services such as a primary services care clinic from Novant Health, multi-purpose classrooms, and renovated childcare facilities.
Why It Matters: The Reach Center will address disparities experienced by the East Winston community such as educational challenges and a lack of economic mobility and healthcare resources.
Details: The renovation is projected to take 8-10 months; updates to the roof and HVAC systems are expected to begin this month. The facility will close for 6-8 months during the process to allow updates to the plumbing system.
➡️ Working from home can be challenging during summer, especially when the kids are home and there are extra distractions. That’s why joining Flywheel Coworking is the ideal solution.
BONUS: Be sure to enter our social media giveaway for a chance to win a FREE month of coworking!*
