š Award: He did it again! UNCSA alumnus Paul Tazewell won a Tony Award for Best Costume Design of a Musical for his work on āDeath Becomes Her.ā Earlier this year, Tazewell made history by becoming the first Black man (and UNCSA alum) to win an Academy Award for the costume design of āWicked.ā

š DIY: Kaleideum is hosting a Creators Studio Workshop for middle schoolers June 16ā18! Kids will get hands-on experience making fun DIY projects, including polymer clay charms, bath bombs, and custom home decor.
āļø Coming Soon: Washington Perk will open their second location inside Forsyth County Central Library on August 1! The new location will feature a full coffee bar, grab-and-go sandwiches, and sweet treats. The space was previously occupied by Moji Coffee before it closed last summer.
