🎟 On Sale: Tickets for UNCSA’s production of “The Nutcracker” go on sale this Friday at 10 AM! This beloved holiday tradition is returning to the Tanger Center in Greensboro December 5-7.
🎾 Announced: The Winston-Salem Open released this year’s player field! The lineup includes former tournament champions Lorenzo Sonego, Sebastian Baez, and Roberto Bautista Agut. The Winston-Salem Open runs from August 16-23 at the Wake Forest Tennis Complex—grab your tickets.
🏆 Ranking: Twin City Sweets appeared on Yelp’s Top 100 Ice Cream Shops! One of five North Carolina shops featured on the list, Twin City Sweets was ranked No. 83 by Yelp—though it’s No. 1 in our hearts. Stop by this weekend to grab a Harry Potter-themed sundae!
🔨 Renovation: Lot 63 finished renovations on its new downstairs area, The Underground! Perfect for studying or catching up with friends, the cozy space features more seating and a second bar. The Underground is also available to rent out for events.
✏️ Education: Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools is considering closing down several schools ahead of the 2026–27 school year. While no specific schools have been named, Interim Superintendent Catty Moore said the School Board will weigh factors such as school functionality and community growth in making its decision. (WFDD)

United Way of Forsyth County’s African American Leadership Society is hosting a Back-to-School Supplies Drive through Tuesday, July 29.
