š NASCAR Returns to Winston-Salem

Bowman Gray Stadium will host their first NASCAR Cup Series event, The Clash, in over a half-century!
What: The Clash is NASCARās season-opening exhibition raceāthough it also refers to the entire February 1-2 racing weekend. The first Clash was held in 1979 at Daytona National Speedways.
When: The Clash race starts at 8 PM on Sunday, February 2. Events leading up to the headliner race include the Madhouse Classic and driver Q&As. Check out the full schedule here.
Why it Matters: The Clash will bring an estimated 15,000 fans to Winston-Salem, delivering a major economic boost to the city and showcasing Winston-Salem to millions of NASCAR enthusiasts worldwide.
Join the Fun: The Nash Museum & Event Center will temporarily open for self-guided tours and Clash watch parties from January 30 to February 2. The Nash Museum is home to seven generations of NASCAR race cars and memorabiliaāthe Winston Cup Museum previously occupied the space.
