  • Poverty Training - Crisis Control Ministries teaches attendees about the impact of poverty and how you can help at Trinity Presbyterian Church. 8:30 AM

  • Pancake Jamboree - The annual event brought to you by the Twin City Kiwanis Club returns! Drop by the Benton Convention Center for pancakes and sausages. 6:30 AM - 8 PM

  • Hockey Game - Cheer on the Carolina Thunderbirds as they take on the Baton Rouge Zydeco at the Winston-Salem Fairgrounds. 7:35 PM

  • New Boutique: Whiskey Rose opened last month at 10477 N NC Hwy 109. The women’s boutique offers contemporary clothing and decor, along with coffee and mimosas.

  • Animals: What happened to Kaleideum North’s animals? After the museum closed at the end of last year, many of them were transferred to the newly opened downtown location. Others were relocated to animal sanctuaries or farms in the area.

  • Viral: A video on TikTok of 2,800 cereal boxes lined up like dominos at Clemmons Elementary has over 30 million views! Students brought the cereal boxes as part of a food drive for Clemmons Food Pantry.

  • City: Keep Winston-Salem Beautiful presents Community Roots Day on Saturday, February 24. Volunteers will plant 200 trees along specific roads. You can sign up to help today!

  • New Dessert Shop: The Peach Cobbler Factory recently opened at 664 Hanes Mall Boulevard. The dessert shop serves peach cobbler, banana pudding, cinnamon rolls, and much more.

  • Renovation: Coliseum Park Plaza is being transformed into an education and direct service hub for families. Imprints Cares, Salem Montessori School, Developmental Therapy Associates, Parenting Path, and Key Autism will all have locations and/or headquarters in the plaza.
