🐪 Spotted in Bailey Park

Innovation Quarter (iQ) has a new holiday display: a 16-foot-tall sculpture of a camel!

  • Why: “We wanted to give both the iQ and the Winston-Salem community a fun, new place to take holiday photos,” said Nina Mastandrea, iQ’s Head of Communications.

    • The choice of animal is a nod to Winston-Salem’s nickname, “Camel City.”

  • Details: The camel will remain in Bailey Park for the rest of the year and will return each holiday season.

  • Design: Studio 25 Decor designed and installed the camel, which is built entirely from aluminum and lit with over 12,000 mini lights plus theatrical lighting.

  • Cast Your Vote: iQ needs help naming their new friend! You’ll find a poll with our Instagram followers’ top suggestions at the end of the newsletter.

🏀 Bring a date, the family, or the whole office — Wake Forest basketball brings the hype. Don’t miss the final three men's basketball home games of the year before conference play begins!
