Rayson Winery and Vineyards
The winery formerly known as RayLen Winery & Vineyards is under new ownership. The plan to sell the property to JW and Kristen Ray, the owners of JOLO Winery and Vineyards in Pilot Mountain, was announced at the beginning of October and finalized last week.
The winery now operates under the name Rayson Winery and Vineyards and had its soft opening on December 2. Keep reading to find out whatâs changing at the winery.
Renovations: Expect upgrades to the outdoor seating area and indoor tasting bar. Additionally, there will be new private tasting rooms, exclusive member lounges, and a state-of-the-art kitchen.
Restaurant: Rayson Winery is projected to open its full-service restaurant, Bistro Europa, in summer 2024. The executive chef is Daniel Zbeigen, who has previously won the 2020 Best Restaurant at a Winery on the East Coast award.
Temporary Menu: While Bistro Europa is built out, Rayson Winery will serve light bites catered from JOLO Wineryâs End Posts restaurant including appetizers, charcuterie boards, salads, baguette sandwiches, and desserts.
Policies: Make note that Rayson Winery is a 21+ only venue and pets are not allowed on the property.
