What: Going to Kaleideum After Dark and exploring Dive Bar!

Team member Stevie
What: Going tubing on the Yadkin River and attending the Winston-Salem Open!
Why: “Tubing was an adventure and an opportunity to see the world from a new perspective. Seeing the world’s best tennis players in person at the WS Open was awesome!”

What: Writing about the upcoming Bashavia Creek Preserve and creating the theater companies guide!
Why: “As someone who loves nature, I enjoyed writing about Bashavia Creek Preserve’s story. And as a former ‘theater kid,’ I couldn’t help but get excited when learning about Winston-Salem’s theater groups!”
Team member Christy
What: Hosting an event to benefit Hurricane Helene relief efforts and touring the upcoming Salem Bottleworks!
Why: “It was cool to see how many people came out to show their support—we were able to raise $2,000 for western NC! And I love watching this city grow and how we are preserving and repurposing historical buildings.”
