Dive Bar and More
You may have noticed that Winston-Salem’s bar scene has seen a lot of changes over the past few weeks. Here is a summary of the latest news:
Dive Bar | 1131 Burke St.
Dive Bar is the ultimate 21+ arcade experience featuring billiards, basketball, pinball, darts, and arcade games like Guitar Hero and Jet-Pong.
The arcade bar serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Its kitchen serves pizza, tacos, pretzel bites, and more.
Dive Bar’s grand opening is on Wednesday, April 17 at 5 PM; you can RSVP for free on the website.
Easy Tiger | 2108 S Broad St.
Located in the space formerly owned by Southside Beer Garden, Easy Tiger is bringing the jungle to Winston-Salem!
The grand opening takes place on April 12 with Flatland Burgers providing food.
Fun Fact: The patio wall has the “E” and “T” from the Winston Tower!
The Rosemary Room | 1001 Burke St.
The Rosemary Room is a new speakeasy connected to Vintage Sofa Bar by a hidden door.
The speakeasy will open on Sunday, April 14 with a drag brunch event in partnership with PRIDE Winston-Salem.
West End Opera House | 853 Reynolda Rd.
Ownership of the establishment recently changed when the previous owner retired and the owner of Vintage Sofa Bar took over.
The space has been updated and its drink menu expanded, though much of what has made West End Opera House iconic (including its dart boards) is staying the same.
