  • 🏆 Ranking: For the tenth year in a row, Variety magazine named UNCSA’s School of Filmmaking one of the top film programs in North America! Variety noted the School’s ability to prepare students for a wide range of careers.

  • 📚 Save the Date: New York Times bestselling author Fredrik Backman visits Winston-Salem on Thursday, May 15! Bookmarks will host Backman in conversation with local author Charlie Lovett at R.J. Reynolds Auditorium. Backman’s newest book, “My Friends,” releases on May 6.

  • 🚗 Parking: Don’t forget! The city replaces downtown’s parking meter system with the PayByPhone app tomorrow, May 1. Additionally, on-street parking rates will increase to $1.50/hour.
