  • Smitty’s Notes was started by Jeff “Smitty” Smith in 1997. What began as an informal email chain about fun things to do on the weekend grew into a monthly newsletter, website, and most importantly, something that connected the people of our city.

  • Winston-Salem would not be what it is today without Jeff’s work. Thank you, Jeff, for how you helped shape our community and paved the way for news sources like The Go-To to exist. We hope to see you around!
