  • Magnolia’s Cafe | Location varies | A family-run coffee trailer (affectionately called “Mags”) that serves espresso and tea lattes, refreshers, fresh-squeezed lemonades, and churros.

  • Bricks & Minifigs | 960 South Main St, Kernersville | Carries new and used LEGO sets, minifigures, and bulk LEGO parts. Customers can also sell their LEGO collections to the shop!

  • Eggies Breakfast | 5395 Robinhood Village Dr | Enjoy breakfast platters, omelets, burgers, and salads. In a rush? Grab your meal from their take-out window!

  • Miller’s on Robinhood | 3458 Robinhood Rd | This sports bar has pool, darts, duckpin bowling, and a full arcade.

  • 🍨 Ice Cream: Twin City Sweets reopens for the season this Friday, April 25! The ice cream stand at 2594 W Clemmonsville Road serves delicious sundaes, candy apples, and roasted nuts. Check out these sweet ice cream shops in Winston-Salem!

  • 🏆 Ranking: Livability.com listed Winston-Salem as one of the top 100 best places to live in the US for the second consecutive year! Several other North Carolina cities also earned a spot on the list, including our nearby neighbors, Greensboro and Asheville.

  • 🎉 Now Open: Park Deli recently opened in Innovation Quarter at 575 N Patterson Avenue (formerly Diamondback Downtown). The deli serves up cold and hot sandwiches with a variety of sides. Online ordering will be available in the coming weeks.

  • 👷‍♀️ Update: NCDOT announced that portions of the Winston-Salem Beltway are complete, with more segments still under construction. Crews have completed the section from US-421 to Highway 52, and work will finish on the segment linking I-74 to Highway 52 by the end of April. Work on the Beltway began in December 2014. (WXII 12)

  • đź—Ł Education: Learn a new language with the Vecino Center! Their Spring II classes kick off this Wednesday and run through the first week of June. If those dates don’t work with your schedule, you can register for their Summer classes starting May 1.

  • 🍲 Nonprofit: Second Harvest Food Bank’s annual Empty Bowls event is this Wednesday, April 23. While registration for the drive-thru soups is closed, you can still enter the raffle for the Chef’s Table dining experience—a multi-course meal for eight with wine pairings!
